Why organic

No PPD. No black henna. Ever.

Cones are rolled by hand, in small batches, close to the date they are used. Nothing else goes in.

  • Henna powder, lemon, sugar and essential oils — that is the whole recipe.
  • So-called “black henna” contains PPD, a hair dye that can burn and scar skin. It is never used here.
  • Fresh cones stain a deep red-brown that darkens over 48 hours and holds for one to two weeks.
  • Safe for brides, children and sensitive skin. Ask for a patch test if you would like one.

Before you book

The questions that come up most.

How far in advance should I book?
Party and guest henna can often be fitted in the same week. Bridal dates should be held four to six weeks ahead, and considerably earlier for Eid, Diwali and wedding season, when weekends fill first.
How long does the stain last?
The paste is left on for four to six hours, ideally overnight. Colour comes up orange, then deepens to a red-brown over the next 48 hours and holds for one to two weeks depending on skin and how often the area is washed.
How do I get the darkest colour?
Leave the paste on as long as you can, scrape it off rather than washing it, keep the area dry for the first 12 hours, and stay warm. A little balm or oil before showering helps it last.
Where do you travel?
Home service across Dubai at no extra charge, and to Sharjah and Ajman with a small travel fee depending on the area. Say where you are when you message and you will get the exact figure.
How long does an appointment take?
A single hand runs 15 to 25 minutes. Both hands to the forearm is around an hour. Full bridal is three to five hours and is booked as its own session, usually the day before the event.
Is it safe during pregnancy or for children?
Natural henna is widely used for both. Because only organic cones are used — never PPD-based black henna — a patch test the day before is available on request for anyone with sensitive skin.
